MASAR and TELESTE signed a cooperation agreement at InnoTrans 2016 Exhibition in the city of Berlin on September 21, 2016. The agreement was signed by the CEO of MASAR Mr. Ali Alkarni (left on the picture) and the deputy CEO of TELESTE Mr.  JOHAN SLOTTE ( right on the picture) .

A joint venture agreement was signed between Railway Management and Services Company (MASAR) and Europoles Middle East (EME) on Thursday 20, 2014 in the city of Riyadh for setting up a Spun Prestresed Concrete Poles producing factory in the Eastern Province using a German technology. The main aim of the factory is to produce and supply the concrete poles to Saudi Electricity Company for both transmission and distribution projects. The agreement is signed by Chairman of EME Dr. Tahir Al Kindi and CEO of MASAR Mr. Ali S. AlKarni in the presence of HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Mishaal bin Abduaziz Al Saud the chairman of MASAR.

Masar participated in the tender of the "The Five Years Maintenance and Operation of the AL-Mashaeer Al-Mugddassah Metro Project (MMMP)-Southern Line along with three other competitors. The complete technical and financial proposals were submitted to MOMRA on May 25, 2013.

British Embassy officials meet Masar CEO Mr. Ali Al karni - July 2012 British Embassy officials Mr. Chris Innes – Hopkins , Commercial Counselor at British Embassy , Riyadh with Mr. Bill Kelly – Deputy head of British trade office & Mr. Sharif Moussa – Vice Consul , British trade office visited Mr. Ali al Karni – CEO , Masar . Various opportunities in Railway sector were discussed. They discussed various potential British companies which would be interested in entering Saudi Arabian & GCC railway sector with the support of Masar . Co-operation to work together in the areas of training, consulting, project management & technology was expressed. The huge growth of railway sector and upcoming mega-projects were key to the discussions. A Plan to engage with British companies during the visit of British Trade minister was acknowledged.

CEO Ali Al Karni participated in InnoTrans 2012 Berlin -Germany. He displayed the potential investment opportunities in railways sector in the kingdom and region wide. The fair encountered several meetings and discussions with the leading European manufacturers in rail industries and related business opportunities .

Masar pre-qualified for Al Mashaaer Al Muqaddassah Metro Operation & Maintenance (MMMOM). The Mecca Metro, officially the Al Mashaaer Al Muqaddassah Metro, is an 18.1 kilometres (11.2 mi) long elevated metro in the city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which is opened in November 2010. Masar is pre-qualified and invited for Operation & Maintenance competition of Al Mashaaer Metro project for 5 years .Masar is among the 10 international companies pre-qualified for the project.
